About Me

My name is Jason Baskette and I am an agender queer disabled artist. I use they/them pronouns (What's This?).

Driven by raw emotion and a hunger for change, I strive to create visual representations of the world around me. In a violent destructive world, we often fail to acknowledge, I have learned how to thrive and grow as a person. My clothes are a reflection of my experiences and my world. They are a mirror of the distress and destruction that is constantly occurring around me.

Recently I have added a project for helping trans and non-cis people pay of their medical bills. You can find more info on that in the T[rans] Shirt Fund section of this site. Soon I will be adding a new collection based in a new found source of creation and collaboration with several artists in the New Haven area. Some of those new items will be debuted at an upcoming event, The Oddities Bazaar.

As an activist and an advocate for Gender Justice, Disability Justice, Mental Health, and much more, this art is a reflection of my life and my community. I am here to change that world with my community and my art.
